Welcome!
The Abba Ministries exists at Hickory Grove Baptist Church for a multitude of reasons. As a ministry, we hope to create an "adoption culture" within our church. Doing so will reach our church body and our community and make it a safe and encouraging place for prospective and current foster and adoptive parents. The ministry also exists to educate the congregation as a whole more about foster care and adoption, and draw the correlation between earthly adoptions and how we as Christians are all adopted children of God's family. Adoption is something to celebrate and rejoice in because we are nothing without our adoption status in the family of God.
